| 520 | # | # | |a The mere mention of the word «Mediterranean» brings to our minds a series of images and emotions that are probably very coincident. In the popular imagination it evokes, immediately, great civilizations that have been born to its banks and crossed its waters; to diverse cultures and religions that have coexisted and have faced in it; to rocky landscapes on the sea, immense and deserted sandy beaches and hidden coves of lush vegetation; to the smells and flavors of products that have led to one of the healthiest and most recognized diets and summer locations dreamed of by people all over the world. We propose to the reader a new voyage of discovery of the Mediterranean through the vignette: its historical antecedents (engravings, paintings, boat sculptures, characters, objects, buildings ...) but basically contemplated through the world of comics as an instrument very useful to revive the past. |
| 520 | # | # | |a El mero hecho de mencionar la palabra «Mediterráneo» trae a nuestras mentes toda una serie de imágenes y de emociones probablemente muy coincidentes. En el imaginario popular evoca, inmediatamente, grandes civilizaciones que han nacido a sus orillas y surcado sus aguas; a culturas y religiones diversas que han convivido y se han enfrentado en él; a paisajes rocosos sobre el mar, playas arenosas inmensas y desiertas y calas escondidas de frondosa vegetación; a olores y sabores de productos que han dado lugar a una de las dietas más sanas y reconocidas y lugares de veraneo soñado por gentes de todo el mundo. Proponemos al lector un nuevo viaje de descubrimiento del Mediterráneo a través de la viñeta: la de sus antecedentes históricos (grabados, pinturas, esculturas de barcos, personajes, objetos, edificios…) pero contemplados, básicamente, a través del mundo del cómic como un instrumento muy útil para hacer revivir el pasado. |
